Checking oil level on Fx models

Was waiting on Christina tonight and decided to check the oil level ,went into the menu ,followed the instructions and was surprised that the engine went into a fast idle while the check was carried out any one else checked it on their Fx model

Maybe it could be some form of new system due to the level of oil is most important when the engine is actually running ?
Just a thought...

I've not even tried to check the oil on mine yet ... maybe I should and see what happens !
