Strange gremlin with flappy paddles this morning on my F56 Works. Instead of selecting lower gear approaching junction (trying from fourth to third) it would only select a higher gear, then whole thing went bit mental allowing 4th, 5th or 6th manually but nothing lower. Flicked back to fully auto then back over to M/S and used paddles again and seemed fine until almost at work and same randomness with left downchange paddle again. Strange. Will be trying again on run home but suspect it is a software issue/glitch. Can't find anything else on the subject out there.

First I've heard of any issues with them Scott. Hooefully just a glitch and an easy fix.

That's not good Scott. Fingers crossed its nothing serious. Be careful meantime ...

Required a new "Body Domain Control unit" and new software. Here's me thinking it was a car and not a robot.
