Not sure if this is in the right place or not?

Anyway, i was looking at the dash command app earlier, a friend is using it on his e46.

Is any body familiar with this or something similar and will it be compatible with an R53?

Ive got Dash command that I used for clearing the CEL light that was brought on by the decat. Really good app. The Wifi OBD reader was under £10 from ebay

Thanks William.

out of interest, do you use it with iPhone or android?

Torque on android is brilliant. I've got an old phone hinged under the toggle switches I use with an OBD reader. Gives me boost, IATs, whatever I want. Gauges can be set to flash at a certain level - my IAT one flashes at 50 degrees for example.

Also clears fault codes

If you use dash vommand on iPhone it's expensive to buy the app but it's free on android. I bought the Bluetooth OBD reader for under £10 too but I've only used it a couple of times with the android app on a tablet I have

Sounds like a good purchase then!

@ecossegp, my work supplies all technology and it's all Apple. So I guess I will just have to pay for the app!

It hinges out of the way, so when it's not being used it can't be seen.

Also have Navmii on it, so my car also has built-in satnav [emoji6]

I like torque on android. For some reason dash command wouldn't connect to the adapter

i got this today, also downloaded the dash command app.

Once i work out how to use it I'm sure it will be pretty useful and interesting

After reading this i dug out my old bluetooth obd plug in and download dash command. First time ive found an app that does everything. Rather than having an app for each problem.
