Hi all. Totally new to BMW Minis! Have been a fan of Honda since the 90's and have had various models. Still have one that is used for shows only which is a 1999 Honda Civic Aerodeck, but my daily driver was a 2008 Civic TypeR fn2. Loved the looks, the handling and the power, hated the fuel consumption and the stupid stiff suspension! So decided to trade her in for a 2008 Mini Cooper! Hadn't even been in a new mini until I test drove one before the one I actually bought! Have to say, love the whole mini scene, and love driving her. Got a few mods planned as I hate totally standard cars, always like something different or retro. Hence the mini!
Mods wise, won't be going looking for performance mods as I'm getting to old for that caper now, so mainly cosmetic mods. Have picked out a set of Cases Eros alloys in 16', as I like wheels with a bit of dish, and going for black bonnet stripes, tinted rear windows MCS front spoiler and tailgate spoiler. Also going for stainless steel spot lights and some kind of ice upgrade. Already got and fitted the channel swap lead so sounds a bit better already.
