advice on decent front speaker upgrade as my car only has front speakers

i used to have some hertz ESK 16.5 components I'm my mini one, they were great speakers. I have some alpine in my R53, they aren't great but they didn't cost.
You won't get great sound from just door speakers, components will be better then co-axial.
the plastic adaptors are crap, its better to make your own from mdf if you can.

a bit misleading really, the alpine speakers are a great improvement over standard but the hertz were amazing.

yes r53 GP The head unit was upgraded to an Alpine unit with Vibe speakers but the sound quality isn't the best

Unusual that as changing the head unit on the GP or any R53 usually cures part of the "rubbish" sound issue. I did it on one of the GPs and have done so on all the R50 or R53s I've had without any issue and even my current set up with the standard speakers and an Alpine head unit is more than acceptable for me.
