How far can you walk into the woods

Eggy7496
30th September 2004, 10:34 PM
An old man wanted to leave all of his money to one of his three sons, but he didn't know which one he should give it to. He gave each of them a few coins and told them to buy something that would be able to fill their living room. The first man bought straw, but there was not enough to fill the room. The second bought some sticks, but they still did not fill the room. The third man bought two things that filled the room, so he obtained his father's fortune. What were the two things that the man bought?

Can't be done, unless your lapping someone. If you're passed by last place then you're in last place.

Imagine John, a party magician, is carrying three pieces of gold each piece weighing one kilogram. While taking a walk he comes to a bridge which has a sign posted saying the bridge could hold only a maximum of 80 kilograms. John weighs 78 kilograms and the gold weighs three kilograms. John reads the sign and still safely crossed the bridge with all the gold. How did he manage this?

How many animals did Moses take on the Ark???

Name five days of the week without saying: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday???

two cars pull up outside of the gate to a park and 7 men get out. As the men are making their way up the path it starts to rain. so 6 of the men start to quicken their pace and run but the 7th man doe not. they all arrive at their destination in the park at the same time and none of the 7 men are wet. How did the 7th man achieve this????

(CLUE: He did not do it withuse of an umbrella or any other form of waterproof clothing)

Big Col
19th October 2004, 10:23 PM
The arc was Noah not Moses

The day before yesterday, yesterday, today, tomorrow, the day after tomorrow,

They were carrying the 7th man and it was in centreparks. :)

Michael_mac
19th October 2004, 11:32 PM
Correct that it was in fact Noah and not moses.

Correct about the five days.

But technically incorrect about the 7th man

Very good Smurf you got it totally correct. the 7th man was indeed dead and as such he was in a coffin which menat that he could not get wet
