Brake Pads Cost????

Im havin the same problem as GAJ mentioned earlier, but incase they dont repair it under warranty, how much would you be for 4 new brake pads?

£90 fitted for rears by BMW. Not sure of fronts.
Or do it yourself with upgraded pads

Don't think so :I I've put EBC green stuff pads on my last two cars and didn't even tell the missus :p:D:approve:

sweet, whats the best brakes to go for then? Bonnie's got sweet brakes, are they not cross-drilled ventilated or something like at? expensive?

:eek:woah there laddie:D Is it just the pads or are you replacing the disc's as well:question: If you're changing the disc's then the insurance will probably need to be informed IMHO :p:D:approve:

ok i've realised, just the pads, whats the best? when u change pads with mini, are u best to change all four?

Just replace the rears if the fronts are OK. It won't affect your braking but you will notice your alloys at the back will be a darn sight cleaner if you fit the green stuff pads as they recon they produce 60% less dust the the factory fitted ones :eek: :p:D:approve:

Just do a search in the well known new mini shops for EBC Green Stuff brake pads (they do red stuff as well but more for racing) and you should get a price :p:D:approve:

thanks guys, still not decided on what do do, if i were to buy em do i just take em to BMW to get fitted? bet they charge a fortune!
