Don't want to go past 440's as I have read it won't run very well on 550's
Will have a think on what to offer for the valve
Cheers Craig

Depends on who you use to tune the car tbh i know lots of people who are running the 550s with no trouble and i may have a set going cheep soon :)

Could do with a clean but was fully working when removed.

I also have a standard throtle body here perfect for sending off for enlargement :)

As there is no way they will ever be refitted to my car i will blow it up before i sell it [emoji38]

Had mine done there recently. Was about £100.
Not the end of the world, but instantly added back 29.8bhp on the dyno!
Best recent mod I've done!!!!

If that's all they are at 1320 I'll add one to the list of stuff I'll have done to 1499 when I saved up enough to get 'em all done in one hit.
(crank case seal, new clutch, lightened flywheel, front bushes and now a bypass valve)

I was in for the race cam, injector, map and Thomas chucked it on the dyno and wondered why pickup was so slow and gutless!

Quick check found the bypass valve was buggered.

Swapped it over and yes, added the missing 30bhp back!!

Tried to put me off the cam etc, as that only added 20bhp and the difference I'd notice with the new valve would be huge. Which it was.

I still had the cam etc done though!![emoji4][emoji4]

208.4Whp, which I think x 15% = 239.66Bhp?

I'm a bit mystified by the insurance when having to declare all the stuff I've had done, as it's only increased the Bhp from stock when new by just over 20Bhp!
Mine was running just below 200Bhp when dynoed by them last year, so had lost some ponies over the last 10 years.
Insurance due this month, so will give the usual suspects a go, though won't be bothering with my current insurer as they charged me £35 for 2 months after the cam/injector/map declaration. Nor will I bother with Craig's insurer...[emoji15]
