25 foot? Is that OK for the North Sea or are you keeping it close to shore?
4 Berths I reckon anymore would be a bit tight!

Yea it mostly going to be for around the islands and for racing in the local points races.
It's a 25 foot loa, 7 foot 3" beam and 3foot 11" draft modified Folkboat with berths for 4, a gass cooker on gimbles and the most important a pan:D,
She is a beutifull boat as I said I will post some pics tommorow:D

Willie she's a wooden hull, only the best:D
She can't be towed as she has a fixed keel on it and weighs about 3.5 tonnes:eek: but it's no problem she can sit in the boating club carpark on her stand during the winter and at her mooring during the summer.
I've been dying to buy one for a while now and this one came up last week and it was just to good an offer to turn down:D:D
I'll post some pics tommorrow

:( Now you're making me miss my sailing. Sold the wee Byte this Easter as the move to Crieff was making Port Edgar less handy. Thinking about possibly doing something on Loch Earn next year though :approve:
Doubt I'll need to nip up to Shetland for a wee sail sometime :D
