Bmw techs who do homers in Ayrshire???

Hi guys, maybe a long shot but does anyone know anyone who can do a proper diagnostic on a BMW 1-Series in Ayrshire ? Garage I normally use recommend I get someone with proper bmw diagnostic equipment so thought I would ask as I don't fancy getting bent over by a dealer :laugh:

Think the problem is their machine is quite vague and only saying p1050 & p1062 which relates to the VVT but doesn't detail what's at fault :sad:

A mate just gave me a number for a guy in next town so cars getting dropped off on Sunday night for him to look over on Monday but if I have no joy I will give them a bell :thumbs up: wanting someone local as don't fancy a long journey with the threat of limp mode as its not the most pleasant of experiences :laugh:
