Think you will find that Glasgow folk are called 'KEELIES',as in Glesga keelie...weggies is only a form of NE regional slang ;)

Plus, I always call folks from Aberdeen 'Furry Boots', cause they always ask you 'furry boots ya fae?';):D

GAJ - Apologies, I'm from Blackpool so I'm still learning the 'foreign' language.

Julz - I agree can't understand a word these locals say, especially the ones from rural towns like Turriff.

My biggest mistake was referring to the hill Ben-Na-Hee (spelt Bennachie) as Ben-Nach-Hie. I don't mind being corrected but the way people reacted it was like I'd just slaughtered the first born child in every house in Aberdeen!

haha ace! i've linked that on my site. i was pretty disturbed at the vids of the neds though, not funny. Pretty scary actually.
