Going to do an Easter run on Sunday 27th March.

This will be an entirely new run. Will post start details as soon as they are organised.

Smashing, looking forward to it. I'm afraid the weekend weathers looking pants. Quick wash on Saturday for the run, not up to my usual standard. Now when Santa comes next Friday with my 4 new friends I'm going to have to spend next Saturday gutting the mini with a few coats of the old auto finesse illusion wax and a triple cost of wheel sealer.

I'm sure William will have stickers with him, if theres a specific colour you're looking for it's best to message him before to see if he has any in stock so to speak :)

Goodness know why but the Mini has been washed and put in the garage for Sunday, the weather tomorrow has to be heavy rain in Cumbernauld and the heavy rain on Sunday afternoon in Edinburgh. Hopefully Sunday will turn out to be dryer.

The lunch stop is at John Muir Countrypark just outside Dunbar. This was about to be my next post, People can do what they want for lunch, bring a picnic, go to the local supermarket or get fish and chips. Your walkie talkie will work just fine. The radios from the group buy where programmed to 4/17 to allow everyone to still be able to keep in touch. The table is booked for 5, I'm thinking the run will finish 3.30/4 depends on how long we have for stops and traffic etc and not a problem about run notes as I will have a supply with me.

A combination of working night shift, not going to bed on Sat morning as I was detailing my mates Harley, and starting at 6pm-which I know not that I shouldn't-to try and machine polish the roof of my Clubman, a job that went on to the wee small hours of the morning resulting in me sleeping in and thinking I could still make it as I looked at my watch, only then remembering I didn't wind it forward last night :rolleyes: so apologies for missing this as was looking forward to it

Another great run today. :thumbs up: Thanks for organising it, was a really good turnout too. The rain seemed to be chasing us the whole way but it was still fun.

Weather wasn't nearly as bad as feared. Brilliant run. Some superb driving roads and only hit couple of craters! Used up what was left of front tyres... will be getting booked in now for those new P Zeros and full laser align. Cheers for egg. Made my niece's day when arrived for dinner. Here's to the summer...

Thanks to everyone who came along today. I hope you had a good day even though the rain did seem to follow us throughout the day. As always a day filled with great laughter and friends, with the added bonus of some great MINI roads. Great to see the usual suspects along with new and some returning faces, hopefully we see you again at the next run.

A combination of working night shift, not going to bed on Sat morning as I was detailing my mates Harley, and starting at 6pm-which I know not that I shouldn't-to try and machine polish the roof of my Clubman, a job that went on to the wee small hours of the morning resulting in me sleeping in and thinking I could still make it as I looked at my watch, only then remembering I didn't wind it forward last night :rolleyes: so apologies for missing this as was looking forward to it

Thats me just arrived home. My first NMS run certainly didnt disappoint had a great time and met some really nice people. Special thanks to william for all the organisasion and prep work to make the run as fun as it was. Definately wont hesitate to make the trek down again for more events.

As always a massive thanks to William and everyone else involved in making the run so enjoyable. Can't think of a better way to enjoy a Sunday ... apart from the weather being dry and sunny and the roads being clean lol. Still on behalf of my passenger and I we'd like to say what a great day we had. It was great to see so many members make an effort to turn up especially as it was the Easter weekend (not mentioning the weather). As always it was great to catch up with the usual suspects and of course meet some new members along the way. Good to see Hannah popping in to show off the old buggy even if it does have a few added battle scars. Please accept a big "apology" from me for not finishing the run. Sorry if I held folk back (I know a few had prior engagements) but I suppose these things happen. For those that weren't sure what had happened I think the gearbox decided it had had enough for the day and rather than hold you all back I called it quits and limped it back to "The Harper's" to get the car collected rather than cause any more damage. I'll get it looked at this week (if not tomorrow) and hopefully it'll be back on the road as soon as possible. Should've known it was too good to be true as the wee buggy was singing in parts today even though it took a bit of wrestling with on the wet roads. If anything good came out of the disaster I managed to get an amazing hire car to get home !!
Anyway I'll get a few photos posted once I get a chance and I'll compile a wee article to go to Modern MINI regarding today's exploits. If anyone has any issues about their photo(s) or cars being used for the article just say and I'll avoid using them.
Thanks again to one and all and NMS hope you all enjoy your Easter eggs, they'll be well deserved after washing the cars.

Thanks again for organising the run William, really enjoyed it. Had a scary moment when I just about went onto the back of bryce when we came around that sharp right corner but the minis brakes saved the day. Thanks for the Easter egg too, demolished it at work. Will be glad when it's summer though when the car will stay cleaner for more than 3 hours though
