AEM Filter

Hi all. Just about to fit an AEM cold air filter kits as per the attachment but then started to read some bad reports on them. Does anybody have one? Have you had any overheating problems? Good idea?

People have had problems after fitting the AEM heatshield apart from that no over heating problems that in aware of

Sorry. It's a 2007 Cooper S. R56. N14. Was worried about that heatshield

I had on on my N14 clubman and had no trouble with it at all you could always leave the shield off !!!

No problems on my N14 JCW Clubby. Kept standard heat shield on.

Does it make any difference to performance or is that just a myth

Friends just fitted one on his clubby Cooper S, pictures on the NMS facebook page, having problems with my photobucket account for some reason or I would post pics on here, but quality bit of kit and my pal had his all colour coded!

I've had mines on a couple of weeks and it's all good I used to get problems in traffic with my alta but never have with the aem
