FAULT CODES

Engine managment light on
fault codes came up
288D exhaust camshaft to crankshaft correlation
2845 vanos exhaust actuator movement
any one any suggeestions for remedy

Code288D meant that the timing chain had stretched
is now in garage to be rectified

Ah that's lucky you caught that ... Jumped a tooth and needing the tensioner and chain replaced per chance ?

whole kit needs replaced
hopefully no other damage was done

Sorted new timing chain fitted fortunately no other damage done
