LEDs - are they a must have?

Hi all

I've not owned a mini for a year and I've really missed my little friend! I've bit the bullet and going back to Mini and I'm currently specing my new car. So, my question is should my Mini have LEDs?

A huge YES from me. My JCW has them an they illuminate the road much brighter and better than xenons

And another massive yes from me too they are amazing and the light they give off is far better than anything I've had before. Worth every penny ;)

If you are happy to spend the extra cash then go for them.

i wasn't and got standard lights. I did immediately change the bulbs to Osram Nightbreaker unlimited which give decent results.

I decided to spec the LED headlights without ever having been in a car fitted with them. But if they are superior to Zenons then they must be amazing. We do a lot of dark time driving around the Borders so I'll report back on them when the new car is delivered.
