Chris has kindly agreed to host NMS again at The Detailers Box. The last meet was a fantastic meet with lots of great laughs and cars, with the added benefit of being able to pick up some new detailing goodies and be able to chat to the people in the know about what's possible best for your own needs.

Massive thanks to Chris and his team at The Detailers Box for today's cars n coffee meet. Cheers to William for setting it up and Andrew for organising the lunch. Why have we not been there before the cakes are f...g massive and a meal itself. I'll learn not to be so greedy with the main course next time but as always it was great to get a chat and catch up. Sorry but no pictures from me, had the camera but spent too much time chatting, that I didn't use it. More importantly thank you all for popping along and supporting the meet its members that make these events happen and NMS always appreciate the time that you devote to clubs activities ... Until the next one break out the cleaning stuff and get the cars sparkling again. :):)

Great to see everybody and their cars today and a good opportunity for me to catch up after quite a wee while. How time flies...

Treated myself to a few cleaning/detailing goodies - I might try some of them on the car, but if the next time you see me I look particularly shiny, it means I've kept them for personal use! Enjoyed having a blether and also our wee convoy from Cambuslang to the lunch stop. Apart from the council grit lorry which sprayed us while we were stopped at a junction...

Thanks to William and Brian for organising the meet, the Detailers Box for the sandwiches, Andrew for his inspired and timely lunch arrangement (food and service were first class and the size of the sweets - I was very good and resisted! - was ridiculous, I have smaller slabs in the driveway), and last but not least, thanks to Lady Harper for the hugs, which made up for my lack of dessert!

I must say I always find it ironic when you get your car manky going to a place which sells stuff to keep your car clean. Definitely worth it for the banter though, and of course you do get lots of nice stuff to unmankify your car!

Alan sorry for the delay in putting up the news but I've managed to get s thread started tonight !!
As Craig says the plan is fluid at the moment and certainly moving quickly ! Who knows might have it finished for first show of the year !!!!

Well guys this is as good as a Transit van etc...........You will note that I posted up on Sunday night at 11.58pm, after being down the pub for "bible class". Obviously had enough Guinness, not recognise the registration plate as Davey's new motor.....doh...."who's car is it"....what a plonker. Anyway car is magic and a set of white wheels would do the business. Happy to go a wee trip back to Seilebost on Harris to take a few photos. It would need a place like that to do the car justice. Great roads as well.

Don't worry Malcolm, a few years back I was on an NMS run all day seeing William's new Cooper... and totally mistook it for his old ONE. As I've said before in my defence, same colour, wheels and reg plate. Dohhhhhhh!!!

Anyway, I took advantage of the dry afternoon today to use some of my new products on G3 ELF, mainly the 'Carchem' 800:1 car shampoo. Excellent stuff. Really smooth to apply and seemed to lift the dirt very well leaving a nice finish. My new big drying towel did the job too, whole car dried, no wringing. Didn't do anything fancy, just a snow-foam, a two bucket wash and a liberal use of the power washer. Came up ok though. It was well cold when I finished - I couldn't feel my extremities, and as I couldn't find anybody else to feel them, I called it a day. Excuse the crap phone photos, it was actually getting dark, and my fingers weren't working!
