Thanks Jonnie.
1499 now gets parked up in a crappy old garage, that seems to just create dust, for days on end now so it's time to protect the wee bugger whilst we find a decent company to refurb the garage.

We are looking for a cover as well. Would it be possible to buy a supply of standard covers and get an N M S logo put on them.? Having seen the Mini cover at £130, im sure a £50 cover would be just as good?

Possibly something we could look into on the merchandise side

You can easily get the logo put onto them Malcolm it would just be the size of the logo that may be the issue ...

Just had a reply about the black indoor GP cover.
$271.39 = £175.57 inc p&p for a brand new OEM indoor cover from The U.S.

That's a bargain Pete especially if that's posted ... Although mind you might get caught with import tax which could be very expensive !

Good point Davy.
It'll still be cheaper than the kid on MT who is selling one for £250 !!!

And sold it! Could be a wee business opportunity there, anyone heading over the pond for a holiday, spare suitcase filled with them!

A car cover is something that I should really be investing in soon'ish (won't be from MINI mind ££ :thud:)

My garage is a stand alone 1970's Marley type with a new roof and door. It's 100% dry but there is no heat, will a dry cover work ok & if so where should I be looking?

Yeah that'll be fine Alan. All it'll do is keep some of the dust off the car mo than anything else. Once the cars washed and polished I put the cover on and it saved having to wash it every week with the dust. You can get genuine MINI ones or if you want something cheaper I think there's a number of companies that'll see you right from £75 upwards depending on what style you want.
