Bit of a late notice run but I was thinking we could have a run on the 27th and try and maybe catch some decent weather. It will be one of my previous runs as I won't have time to do a new route.

The plan is to meet at Straiton Park & Ride just off the Edinburgh City Bypass at 10.15 to start the run arounf 10.30. Run notes will be posted in due course

Excellent start to the day and the weather was fantastic ,thanks to all that turned out today :thumbs up: a few mishaps the biggest one was Den losing his camera from the back of the GP :ragin:the other was the parking attendant at the mining museum :laugh:the last and most unexplained was the mad women who wanted to stand in the middle of a very busy main road and tell us what she thought of Eddie :frown: seriously not a clue what she was going on about .pics will follow

I can honestly say I've never had a nice friendly wave from a man in a Speed Camera Van before, I actually PMSL because it was a second after Christina said "cheese" over the radio :lol: it's certainly one run I'll never forget from start to finish :)

Daryl, Gregor was driving brilliantly today! I was really impressed with his driving! Well done Gregor :) I have to admit I was keeping a wee eye on him to make sure he was ok but he was spot on.

We both had a great run today. Thanks to William for organising. I'd forgotten how good those roads are. Shame the NCP Car Park attendant at the Mining Museum was such a twonk. Other than that, and Den losing his camera & mount, and Eddie O being shouted at for no apparent reason, and Neil hurling his lunch up at the side of the road....... it really was a great run. :lol:

I'll second what Eddie_JCW said about Gregor... very good driving from a newly qualified driver today. Very calm, composed, great road lines in and out the bends and despite not having the black box fitted yet was driving very sensibly. Gregor, you should be very proud of yourself.

First NMS run in the r53, had an absolute blast as usual. Must say I've had a great summer with you guys at all the shows ect. Thanks William for the run the roads are fantastic, rather jealous as I can't think of much that comes close to them down this way.

Nice to meet some new people too.

Hopefully someone decent has the GoPro and will track Den down in time. See you's on the next run!
