The plan is to meet at Toby Carvory at Mortonhall,Edinburgh for Brekfast before starting a run (Route and times pending)

I just read that the Forth Bridge and A90 are going to be closed on 1st November

Full A90 closure scheduled
Travellers warned to avoid Forth Road Bridge area

Essential demolition works planned for weekends October 24/25, October 31/November 1, and November 14/15, 2015.

Road users are warned to avoid the vicinity of the Forth Road Bridge when the A90 and M90 (M9 Spur) will be closed to all traffic south of Echline Junction to allow for the demolition of the B800 bridge located between South Queensferry and Kirkliston.

This signals another milestone in the progress of the project and this will allow the next phase of roadworks for the Forth Replacement Crossing in the Scotstoun area to progress.

From 8 PM on Saturday October 24, 8 PM Saturday October 31 and 8 PM on Saturday November 14 the A90 and M90 (M9 Spur) will be closed in both directions through to a latest re-opening time of 6 AM the following Monday morning.

Diversion routes for A90 traffic will be via the M9 (A904/5 for non-motorway traffic), Kincardine Bridge and the A985. Local access between South Queensferry, Kirkliston and Dalmeny will remain available.

The closure will be in place between Echline Junction south of the Forth Road Bridge and north of Barnton on the A90. In addition, the M90 (M9 Spur) will also be closed in both directions.

Thanks for the run today - good fun as usual :). The roads were a tad manky!!

Good to see the usual suspects and some new faces :)

Back was a bit sore near the end and it appears I missed the end of the run so apologies to those that I didn't get a chance to say goodbye to... I did wonder when a load of you tore past me on the A1, so I drove home myself until I came across Jason and Kerr near Falkirk ...

Hopefully see you all at the next one :)

Thanks for organising a great run today William. Don't think there was much point in cleaning the car yesterday though aha. Roads were a bit slidey though, back end came right out at one point. Was thinking to myself that I was gonna need a new set of boxers. But it caught grip and took off again so was all good. Was great to see everyone today, plus see some new faces. Sorry Craig that might of been me racing past at the end of the run, a bmw bike was behind me so wanted to have a wee toy about with it. Let's just say I backed off at about 90 and gave him a chance. Be good to see everyone at the detailers box at the end of the month. Away to moan to my mum now to see where my tea is :laugh:

A great run today and thanks to everyone for coming along. The looks on people's faces as they drove by and seeing Superman driving by was fantastic. Great food, laughs and even better people, which is what makes NMS the great place that it is.

Cheers to everyone for a great day out ... All the usual fun of an NMS run and our car was filled with screams, giggles and gasps right from the off !!! Anyway as always a big thanks to William for organising today's run and more importantly everyone that managed to make it along. It was good to see the weel ken faces and of course new runners too. The weather certainly made it a great day out. Think we'll have to take MAC more often Cat as the sun always comes out every time he joins in. Anyway I'll get a few photos up asap.

Oh I wouldn't worry about that I worry every time Andrew steps out of his MINI and he must be about 6.7" ... that's why I let him pass me on Sunday lol :);):)

Scary thing is some folk won't even wearing masks !! :):)

Thanks to William for organising another great NMS day out great day had by all weather was amazing for November and well done to the ones who were brave enough to dress up some great costumes nice to meet the usual mini family and some different faces roll on the next meet
