I think the seal on my back windows is coming loose. The F56 is only a year old!

Curious to know if this has happened to anyone else?

Taking it into Mini Service tomorrow for them to have a look and hopefully fix for free!

to me it looks like a chemical reaction what caused it ????? who knows

It's actually a long bit of thin cloth that's sticking out.

Someone reported this on the f56 forum. Apparently is it a known issue and the dealer should be able to deal with it by following repair instructions from MINI.

Next week is the earliest they can take it. Hoping it's just fixed under warranty. Sure it'll be an easy fix.
