You have notified your insurance about changing run flats to normal tyres?? :S

I'd run them at 32 psi Neil
And then see how you feel :)

I've run both my sets at 32psi, one set were 215/35 R18 and the others are 235/40 R17, and they've both felt great at that pressure with no issues.

...enjoy the journey.

Why wont they fit them

There's quite a few places that are funny about fitting non RFs to cars with RFs

I'm sure it was national that tried lecturing me about it saying it would invalidate my warranty and insurance I just agreed and told them that's fine I'll just have them fitted, I know it was BS just to get me to buy RFs from them

The barmy thing about it all is that the inner beading on a JCW R107 wheel is actually designed for normal tyres not runflats.
They are rounded as opposed to triangular.
I'm not too sure about any other MINI wheel though.

...enjoy the journey.

Yup, heard that from a garage when I got my first set fitted. Invalidating insurance etc etc, spoke to insurer, said "cobblers"![emoji6]

Depends who it is I guess, some spout tripe, others don't care...and that goes for garages AND insurers! [emoji37]

...end...

The pressures on the sticker for stock 205/45-17 non-runflats on my SD Roadster are 41psi front and rear. And I think that's right - any less definitely gets wibbly. Using low pressures like 32psi is asking for a bent rim on potholes.
