Hello from Redcar, north east uk

Just thought i would introduce myself.

I have a 2004 Cooper and loving it, acquired the car by accident as it was my daughters car but she has left for the USA for a couple of years. The idea was that i would sell it for her but after driving it around for a couple of weeks i decided i would keep it, i just like the way it drives and after spending a bit of time putting a few things right its great to be able to work on a car that you dont need to spend half a day removing stuff just so you can get to the top of the engine.

My other car is a Honda Civic cdti2.2, very quick car but does not have any character, its just transport.

I also like my motorcycles and currently own a 2006 kawasaki Z1000, and i like to spend my weekends trying to melt the tyres :cool::smilewinkgrin:

Hi and welcome along ... Glad to see that you caught the MINI bug and decided to hang onto the wee Cooper and yes you're right they are a fun yet addictive wee buggy, I'd love a Z1000 especially that model with the four pipes in blue :)

Ah an old ZX6R ninja too ... Like the Z1000 especially as it's not in green !
That's one of the bikes that I would get next if I was to have another ... Love it

Its a ZX9R not the 6 and it was awesome, you could lift the front wheel at 90 off the throttle and would do just shy of 90 in 1st (had to try it once on a private runway).

Been out in mini today for a blast around some of my favorite bike roads and its just as much fun as the bike.
