Ok what can be done with the Cooper S?

I love the sound of the exhaust popping when in Sport mode, but would like it a bit....gruntier if possible, is this done with a new air filter? Something more meaning ful rather than the common K&N that everyone goes for, although nothing wrong with that mind you.

I have noticed videos online of Cooper s' that seem to give off a whine but mine doesnt do that, have the owners tweeked their supercharger or something?

What version of Cooper S do you have?
R53, R56 or the latest?

Alta intake is one of the best mods for the R56

With the mention of a S/C ,I would say R53

I'd definitely go for an Alta, the sound it makes is addictive and I find myself just blipping the throttle to hear it :) A fair number of us have one on here and I've not heard any complaints about it.

As for making it gruntier if you just want to swap the backbox you could go to the JCW stage 1, that made a nice difference to mine when I had it, I only changed it for the Challenge backbox so I could get even more noise

He has a R56

As Andrew said Alta air filter is the best and you could go sport cat or decat for the exhaust

It's an R56, which shouldn't whine borvad if it does there's something wrong with it because they're turbocharged not supercharged ;) the R53s have superchargers :thumbs up:

As for more noise see Andrews post ;) I'd also recommend the Alta intake and a change to the exhaust :)
