Hello again....... [Archive] - New MINI Scotland

Hello all! I used to be on here regular a good few years ago with my mcs 54 plate! Username was thedoctor46 or something like that but cant remember old log in details!
Anyway, im from Edinburgh and on the hunt for another MCS, although my budget is at the bottom end this time......
Max budget about £2500 and after scrolling through the classifieds it looks like im goin to have to travel for a decent car. Theres a few within my budget, under 100k.
What should i be looking out for? As much info as possible please as like i said, looks like im goin to have to travel!
Unless anyone knows of any up her in Scotland for sale!

Yeah sounds like you've got a challenge on your hands but occasionally a "goodie" comes out the blue. Personally I'd go for a car that runs well over looks as it's usually easier to sort the bodywork over the mechanicals ...

Picked up my 2003 mcs last night......
Will upload pics once ive figured out how to post up pics and gave her a 'farky' polish/wax!
Forgot how much fun these little cars are!!

Done my Hybrid Hobo Orranje/dave.f style airbox today.
Next on the list is to replace all the gaskets/o ring to make sure theres no leaks.....

Im getting there slowly! Finding the time is the hardest part! Lol

Not seen u yet either William, quite a few mcs in newtongrange but not seen you yet!
