View Full Version : I moved my licence plate

Just playing around trying to be different and moved my plate to the lower grill, will this have an impact on cooling the car at all? I've seen a few like this but I still wonder? Probably won't make a difference in this weather but problems likely in summer?

Right, I moved it back soon after this, I've seen a few MINIs sporting this but it was running though my head as I moved it to have a look. thanks

Snap the plate in two, chuck it in the boot and if plod stops you, tell them it's just happened. Works for some folk allegedly :)

Just ask Rob don't think his plates been on the car since he smoothed his front bumper ...
Always the chance of £100 fine for failing to display the plate though ... Could get expensive !

Does anyone know if it's legal to use a tow hook licence plate mount in the UK??
