Hey guys. Looked at a lot of forums for minis but the ones I used to be a part of lean more toward the classics, now that I don't have one it's probably best I join here where I don't stick out like a sore thumb.
Anyway, here's the car
5549 5551

2013 cooper s with the sport/chilli pack bought last month at 500 miles (ish) down the south of England. Brought back up to peterhead

Unfortunately this only lasted a couple of weeks until some utter moron of a woman reversed into the side of it

5552

Luckily I wasn't in the car so can't be held liable atall so it's going through the insurance. Taking time though as she refused to give us the details, guess she thought she could pull a fast one as I'm 18 oh how wrong she was.

Not sure how active this forum is meet up wise so let me know. How many are going around up here in the north east and how many meets/shows is this forum involved with
Thanks, Sean :)

Thanks for your patience.

Check the meets section (http://www.newminiscotland.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?4-MINI-Meets-Social) there is a very lively and active show and meet agenda.
If nothing doesn't take your fancy you can organise an event as required :thumbs up:

...sore one about your car. Nice colour Spice Orange?

Yeah spice orange, funny story actually. When I decided I wanted to look at a mini I told myself I would only get one if it was an r56 in spice orange with the jcw kit. So I went to auto trader and set it to Mini Cooper s hatch and set the miles to under 1000 and the price to under 16000, when I searched this one was the top result at 500 miles, quite literally the exact car I had in my head. Needless to say I was on the phone straight away

Welcome Sean. There is a meet at Brechin in 2 weeks time if you can make it. Details in the section that Gismo posted above - on the 1st of Feb. :)

Car looks great with the kit on it.... Without the debt obviously :)

Welcome to NMS Sean. That's a great colour, I wish I could've got my JCW in that colour, it's stunning and as mentioned it's rare too.

It's funny that isn't it Pete I was the same but I think it suits some models better than others :):)

I agree on a standard cooper or one I don't think the colour looks quite right but on the jcw kit it's spot on

Some colours can look totally different on other models Electric Blue on an F5* looks a totally different shade to your car, same goes for White Silver they both look lighter on the new car.

Sean.....I'm heading down to Brechin and I'm local to Ellon, maybe see you there (if you've got the MINI fixed by then!!)

(I almost bought a roadster in that colour, but held out for a F56)

Yeah just the jcw aero diffuser style thing, only called it that for lack of a better term. There's a guy local to me that does hydro dipping so going to try get a quote for the diffuser
