Mg zr straights?

Have been offered a set of mg zr straights and was wondering if anyone else has put these on an r53 and if anyone has any info on them for example how much they weigh? Thanks in advance!

David my secret is burst ... I've not put them on yet but I have a set at the garage I'm waiting on getting on. They'll need to be painted first though that's my delay. They offer the same offset which is the reason I bought them so they shouldn't offer any problem to the standard R53 set up. I've no idea how much they weigh though ... They'll only be going on for looks for me !

Actually look quite good! A quick google says the weigh approx 9kg, so a decent saving over s-spokes. Not exactly light though

And lol at a 17" that weighs 5kg according to the previous guy... even Alleggerita's aren't that light!

I told the guy pro race 1.2's are 6.9kg so I'm not surprised they are 9kg but like Mon says, still a saving over s spokes and bargain price too. Should have them on by the weekend, I would put up some pics but tbh as I've also bought the grill from the above car, my car will pretty much be identical.

Just booked the car into dreadnought garage in callander to get my meister r's fitted so the wheel gap will be banished!

I've got some damper specs in the garage, I'll have a look when I finish work. Camber for me is -2F (the most I could get without cutting the towers) and -1.5R.

Height-wise, wind the fronts all the way down and leave the rears as they are, then tweak to suit

I've got the fronts at 14 clicks from full soft, and the rears 6 clicks from full soft.

Try that for a start, and then have a play about

Nearly forgot - try a bit of pre-load on the springs, maybe 1cm or so
