Poor headlights

I have only recently bought my mini but am a little disappointed with the headlights. Its fine on full beam probably due to the spots but was wondering if this was the same throughout the range. My wifes mini is not much better so does anyone know a solution or would a change of bulbs help.

Uprated bulbs did this on our R57 and R57, osram night breakers if I recall...

They now to a newer model with more light

since mine are that bad but there illegal I found out this could be a good comparison

I'd stray away from the illegal bulbs as you'll just draw attention to yourself, especially if they are also blue.... The night breaker unlimited or the PIAA bulbs are about as good as you can go for legally before looking at properly installed HID kits :)

The Night Breaker Unlimited are great. They are also brighter than the PIAA so save your money and go for the Night Breakers.

I've got Night Breaker plus in both of the cars and I'm not sure there's much if any difference over the standard nigh breakers .. Yeah certainly the PIAA are good but they cost a fortune !
