Centre armrest

Anyone tried one of these armrests?

I bought one and I am having a fitting issue as it won't go right down in the rear cup holder anyone else had trouble with these?

Never fitted that one Billy I've fitted the original one that slots in under the front seat runners and another that gets screwed (self tapper) to the rear cup holder .. What do you think the issue is the depth of the arm rest that sits in the holder is too long or the rubber at the top is stopping it sliding all the way in ?

It's not going down in the cup holder by about 30-35mm so it's really wobbly , doesn't look right and it's definitely for an R56 according to the eBay seller

Would have been great, looks like I am going to have to fabricate it to fit, the eBay seller says I should return it to him at my cost of £12:48!! why should I when its his product that's wrong I would rather spend £12:48 on my mini and fabricate the armrest to make fit.

It shouldn't be too much hassle to "make it fit" one way or another.

Going to send it back as a faulty item that way he will cover the costs, I just wish now I bought it from the UK instead of Germany!

Yeah probably better to get one that fits correctly .. They can be bought cheaply enough from the UK. What model of car have you got ?

In that case you can fit the R53 one that fits under the seat bolts too we've done it on the big fellas Countryman without any issues .. ;)

Binned that one one and bought a different one now, I just have to send this one back to Germany :(

Which one did you buy? Does it have 2 metal arms which go under the seat runners or did you buy the one that attaches to the centre console ?

New armrest arrived yesterday far superior to the first one I ordered glad I have sent that back for a refund now anyway here's the images.
