Right gang I'm looking for some information from anyone that has fitted the Airtec Intercooler ..
I've removed the standard S Intercooler in an effort to fit the Airtec version but have stumbled across an issue when fitting it.
It would appear that the Intercooler won't sit flat on the engine which appears to be firstly due to the oil breather pipe (top right arrow in the photo). It would appear also that the inter cooler is still sitting proud due to catching off the front two mounting brackets (bottom arrows) ..
Now I've read the instructions and followed them to the letter but to me there's an issue with the size and shape of the Intercooler.
As well as that the bonnet is sitting with a gap of about an inch and won't shut which if I could get the inter cooler fitted level might not be too much of an issue but I'll need to wait to see ..
Looking to see if anyone can help with suggestions (sensible) or known issues in the fitting of this ..

If I mind correct when I fitted my GRS you have to remove the bracket next to your arrow at the oil pipe for it to sit flush 👍😏

Yeah that's not the issue with this at the mo Rob there's plenty of space there for it to sit flush it just appears to be at the bits I've marked ..

Think I might have found a solution. It can now sit nearly flush on the right hand side and with a minor adjustment to the bonnet catches the bonnet closes and looks not too bad... :).

Thanks a million for all the help offered in relation to the big fellas fitment issues ..
We managed to get all the bits fitted after a bit of shouting, swearing and the big fella even managed to get his hammer out ... I'm sure the big fella will come back to you all with a full update after the cars been run for a few days but it certainly sounds good !! :)
