Some familiar roads there Rob, looking forward to this, really like the Strathaven to Muirkirk section. At least I won't need run notes and can't possibly get lost on this one as it's in my own back yard!

Love the Douglas to Muirkirk road know it like the back of my hand, the Muirkirk to Strathaven road is a belter too :) this is going to be a great run.

I can mind my dad doing the Muirkirk to Strathaven road in his E34 520i it was heaven! My sister didn't feel the same way :lol: she's never been back on it since and I wouldn't be brave enough to take her, she was in tears lol and said she'd kill me, get out and walk if I tried and I believe her :p

Well we are back safe and sound have been for a good while

we would like to thank everyone who turned up today.
We hope every one enjoyed them selfs.
Roads where very manky but dry day so that was a bonus :)

Thank for a great wee run Rob, was nice way to start the NMS year. My car is well and truly manky, although lets be honest it was manky before I even got there, I wonder if Davy's twitching somewhere thinking about all the manky NMS Mini's there are now!

Hope the new folks enjoyed themselves, and we seemed to pick up at least 1 new member along the way :)


But the biggest thank you of the day has to go to Christine for the yummy brownies - can you tell I like them?? :Whistle: I even got a stash to take home with me :D

Really great to see you all today - glad I popped down to the lunch stop - even if I missed the lunch!

Thanks for the warm welcome and all your good wishes, reminded me of what I've been missing after being sidelined this past while. Fab turnout of cars too (I parked the Fabia at a discreet distance...), and hearing the MINIs pull away from the garden centre has made me all the more determined to get G3 ELF out of the garage and get my MINI Mojo back! The convoy looked fine on the road too.
