Hi people,
I have bought a parrot kit mki9200 for the mini I am struggling to find a decent mounting place to fit the screen,
Can you please post your images of where you have fitted yours??
Any help is really appreciated.

I don't have a photo of the one that I had fitted but you can have it so its positioned to the left or right of the Rev counter. Pete I'm sure will be along shortly as he's fitted his in the same place .. other solution is make a braket and mount it onto the drivers side down tube using the existing screw just mind and put a bit of foam at the back of it to make sue it doesn't mark the down tube :thumbs up:

Yes I do.
:)
Mikey sells a bracket which you attach to the back of the rev counter:

The remote is just stuck on with Blu-Tak (it's just to the left of the rev counter)

No probs Billy.
You just undo the two screws holding on the rev counter, remove the two screws at the back of it, use the two long screws that come with the bracket to fasten it to the rear of the rev counter and then fasten the rev counter back to the top of the steering column.
I didn't have a clue what I was doing and I did mine in 10 minutes.

If I remember I'll take a pic or two of the back of my rev counter tomorrow so you can see exactly what I mean.

That would be great , I am getting the mini on Wednesday and the guy says if he has time he will fit it for me but I'm not holding my breath,
He's been really helpful so far so he might and he's fitted loads in the past so I would prefer him to do it tbh,
I will see how it goes and if he cant do it I will give it ago at the weekend

It's not a big job that's for sure it'll take you about an hour to do it properly and hide all the cables ...

Here are a few pics to explain my earlier post.
View of the two screws that hold the rev counter in place, which you'll need to remove completely.....

You then have easy access to remove the OEM screws and replace with the two longer screws that come with the bracket from New MINI Stuff.....

Refasten the rev counter, job's a good 'un.
:)
My screen is just stuck to the bracket with the double sided sticky pad that came with the kit. Once stuck to the bracket leave it overnight before you try to remove the screen.

Great , I will let the guy I am buying the car from do the job as he said he can do it before I collect tomorrow 😃
After he's done the hard work I will buy the bracket and fit the easy part myself then tell everyone I fitted it all 😜

Believe it or not I had mine fitted at Halfords for £20.
Richard who fitted it is mad on MINI's and had never seen a GP before and was like a kid in a sweetshop when I let him work on it.
He did a cracking job of it.

So if you had yours fitted at halfords do you have a DAB Radio? If so is it still there as mine has gone since the parrot was fitted it's confusing as hell my radio stations where I live and I get full DAB in my other car and want it in the mini.
Thanks

I have no DAB in mine, it's just a normal old fashioned style head unit.

Yeah the GP doesn't come with DAB ..
Have you checked to see that the DAB is within the car ?

Then it can really only be the Parrot kit that's causing you the issue ...
