finally got the wheel bearings changed yesterday, took it for a drive all going well then...boom limp mode

managed to nurse the car home this time, running on what sounded like 2/3 cylinders.
plugged it in the code reader. 2 codes flashed up
P1688 and P0107
After a quick google search found that P0107 is the map sensor again...
but the P1688 is " Electronic throttle control monitor level 2/3 mass air flow calculation"
what does that mean, am guessing that is also linked to the map sensor but not 100% what the cause/ fix could be.

any ideas? any help would be great.

Check all the intake hoses are on properly, it could be a sensor fault but it could also be an air leak

Not having much luck with that car of yours Mark ..

Code P0107 relates to Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit Low Input
Code P1688 relates to MAP sensor which I suspect could be the issue. It's a cheap and easy fix just remove the two torque screws and replace the sensor. Think it's about £35.

Yeah tell me about it lol....

Luckily I have a second supercharger kit sitting waiting to go on. I have an injector rail so took the map sensor from that one and reset the fault codes. So fingers crossed now lol.
