Just had my '60 MCS MOT'd with an Advisory Item; 'Under-trays fitted obscuring some underside components.' Errrrr :scratch: ? They are factory fitted items!!! Anyway, those trays were there last year too and passed with no mention of them? Must be different centres look at things differently!

The garage we use for MOTs puts that on almost every MOT, they are just covering them selves because if it passes the test and next week the brakes fail due to a rusty brake pipe that he could not see then it's not his fault

If you removed the under trays I wonder if they'd stick an advisory on it saying "under trays missing?" Lol

no because they would not effect the MOT

Most of my undertrays are lying in a ditch somewhere and I always get the same on mine ;) I wouldn't give it a seconds thought.
