Hi all,

I've bought a new stereo for my R50 and it needs a digital aerial/ antenna. I've seen one's that stick to the windscreen but im not really keen on this so I'm wondering if a splitter type will work. The stereo is a pure highway H260DBi

Are there any ice experts that could offer advice?

Cheers

Sean

If you mean this (eBay number 251099690995) then the answer is yes and it'll be a lot neater than an aerial stuck to the windscreen ..

I've done some reading up and it seems like I will have to go for the window aerial now as from what I can understand my existing aerial is amplified and the splitter wont work :(

If it was me I'd take the old stereo out and fit the new one but leave it out the dash, nip down to Halfords and try the splitter, if it doesn't work you can get the window aerial. I think you should be ok with it but if not you'll be able to go straight back in and try the other one .. just an idea

I'll nip to Halfords at the weekend and speak to them :)
