Second time around

Hi. Just thought I'd introduce myself, I'm probably one of your older members having built a Mini Cooper from parts for my first car. It was an Original Cooper body. Which I bought for £40 and restored then fitted a 998 cc engine with Webber carbs but that was way back in the day.


I recently sold my 118d and bought myself an MCS so this is my first time owning an Actual Cooper S and it's more fun than any previous car.

Here's a photo of the current car I picked it up in Redditch last Sunday and drove it 370 miles home :)

I've never known a car with so many extras which kept me occupied on the homeward journey :)

Nice to know we're not ageist here :) I have to say I was blown away by the condition of the car. Could find a mark on it, no stone chips at all. Having looked at a few before snapping this one up I'd seen a few sorry sights. I had a search saved on auto trader an was the first caller of many on this one. I call that lucky :)
