New forum member, first time MINI buyer

Hi folks,

I am a first time MINI buyer, converted from a long streak of VW buying. I was at the Scottish Car Show and saw a few of your cars.

I am from the Fife area, and naturally I purchased my MINI Cooper S from Harry Fairbairn in Kirkcaldy. I am due to take delivery of it on 1st September.

It has been a long few months waiting, but hopefully it will be worth it in the end. I have had diesel cars for years, so having lower mpg and having to reach for the green nozzle at the petrol station will be a shock to the system. However having had extensive test drives of the new F56 Cooper and Cooper S, nothing puts a smile on my face like this car has done.

Thanks all for the warm welcome.

I will be sure to get some pictures up as soon as I get a chance.

The car is Blazing Red, black 17" cosmos, black roof, mirrors and bonnet stripes. Chilli pack of course, LED headlights and foggys, darkened rear windows, JCW spoiler, visual boost (non sat nav). I think that is pretty much it really.
