Others have better knowledge of good roads than me but would be good to meet up if dates work.
As others said can't see the detail in the link.

Yeah I'd like to have done part of this but given the dates they'll be up here think I'll be struggling.
Be great to have an NMS presence on it though :):)

24th - 28th July 2014 DATE CONFIRMED
It's time to start thinking of 2014 so here are the initial thoughts for the Scotland tour. A lot more planning needs to be done but after several coffee's and a pasty or 2 here is the starting point:
It will be a 5 day trip, run during the school holidays in Summer 2014. Days 1 & 5 will be the 'get to & get home' days. The accommodation at each stop will vary from between £35 and £80ish [wink] per night. The variation is down to how remote the locations are. Each day will involve approximately 5 hours of driving. Oh and the roads are EPIC!!!!!!!!
Here is the initial plan....
Day 1
HEAD NORTH to Scotland
Destination - KINLOCHLEVEN
Accommodation - MACDONALD HOTEL (Rooms, Cabins & Camping available)
En Route - Loch Lomond & Glencoe
http://www.macdonaldhotel.co.uk/
Day 2
KINLOCHLEVEN to DURNESS
Destination - DURNESS
Accommodation - Sango Sands Campsite (Camping & Static Caravans available. B&B's nearby also)
En Route - Eileen Donan Castle & Ullapool
http://www.sangosands.com/
Day 3
DURNESS - LOCH NESS
Destination - Loch Ness
Accommodation - Luxury night on Loch Ness [wink]
En Route - John o Groats, Tongue, Wick
http://www.lochness.com
Day 4
LOCH NESS - LOCH LOMOND
Destination - LOCH LOMOND
Accommodation - Camping at the top end of Loch Lomond, on the West Highland Way & by a waterfall! [redface]
En Route - Glencoe, East coast roads, Oban, Inverary, Distilleries
http://www.beinglascampsite.co.uk
Day 5
HEAD HOME [frown]
Destination - Home [wink]
That's it for now but please let us know if you fancy a bit of a Scottish Adventure. The roads are some of he best I've ever ridden/driven and you won't be disappointed! [wink]
This is only the start of the planning so if there's something you think is missing then let us know [wink] None of this is set in stone so get involved.
Thanks All [biggrin]

I drive those roads all the time, much better in Sept onwards when most of the camper vans have gone....makes owning a nice car worth it...http://img.tapatalk.com/d/14/08/16/y9e7a6y3.jpg
