30k tempting I know

Do you think this could be made road legal? At £30k I'd be sorely tempted by one of these, sod the impracticalities.

£30k plus VAT introductory price ;)

They're being made for racing, believe the shells are coming straight from BMW so you'd have to convince them to build you one based on a road car you could then use since it's been registered already.

Personally I wouldn't want to, and I do drive my racecar on the road sometimes. These aren't converted road cars really anymore, that's a ground up racecar.

I'm no expert but surely you could fit a cat then have it SVA'd (I must stop thinking about this!!!!) de sticker it if it has any, stick Cooper badges on and prepare to shock a lot of people :lol:

It already has a race CAT, near enough all modern racecars have to run them.

SVA no longer exists, it's now an IVA and it wouldn't pass an IVA for various reasons. Hence, you'd need to start from a road car and convince them to convert it.
