After driving the car fairly hard tonight on the damp road I could have swore it had an LSD . It hardly breaks traction even out of junctions and sort of tucks in under load around roundabouts !
I've read that an LSD was a no cost option on late r53's when taking the chilli pack or is that nonsense?
I also thought it is very stiff but everything looks OEM and have seen there was a sport plus suspension option.
Are these something a dealer could tell me with the chassis number?

Yeah the LSD is included in the chilli pack on late model R53 cars and dealers can tell you what options the car had from the factory if you give them the chassis no :)

Jack the car up and have a look at the code on the 'box - TBKE = no LSD, TBKL = LSD
