i need a recon gearbox :( i've looked on ebay but i don't want to pay 300-600 on a box that ends up being a paper weight. it's not like there are proper review to say yes there are good i've done x amount of miles etc...
its a bearing thats gone i'd say

Source a 6 speed from an S then, will suit your engine better

im thinking of taking it here to get done http://www.minigearboxes.co.uk/# loose ex - £300, fitted - £500, fitted with clutch - £540 price + vat
it a same day service drop it off pick it up in 4 hours i'll get to go around the coventry car museum i've not been since college lol. but i'll need to save some money up first

i did think about the 6 speed box but its a bout £1300 to get it done because you need all the other brackets and drive shafts and stuff

got the clutch and gearbox done last saturday :) £600 fitted and only took them just over two hours i've done about 500 miles on it so far and everything seems fine :)
