Opinions - gold wheels?

Hello,

Just after a general consensus / opinions here on gold wheels for my mini.

Got a few ideas which would be done first, de chrome, possible new headlights (those black ones) and coilovers to lower.

The wife's says no, but I strangely really like the laser blue and gold wheels on the cars I've saw so far.

So, thoughts?

I don't mind gold wheels with a blue car, but with a black roof, I'd go for black wheels, or stay with the silver.

It's funny, it had never crossed my mind about gold alloys, as everything said above i would of until I saw a picture of a laser blue, with black roof recently, frankly rocking it, they just worked.

First thing I thought, wife thought and still thinking, it's very Subaru and I don't want that look really, but I cannot abide black wheels just not my taste.

It would have to be done right that's for sure. Wouldn't work if the car wasn't de chromed and lowered, not going to happen anytime soon, need to buy those black xenons first.
