I'm Paul from Edinburgh and new to the forum and thought I'd say Hi,

I come from mainly M powered cars but last year ended up with my first R53 cooper s and just can't stay away from them,lol

Both previous mini's had been fairly heavily modified and I wanted to start from scratch,

This is the car totally standard I picked up from Evans Halshaw of all places,lol

I have since changed the intercooler for a GRS one and changed the wheels to Rota RB's

Cheers for the comments guys,

I picked up the gold wheels as a stop gaps as I couldn't find any RB's at the time and just couldn't bare to remove them again as they suited the grey car so well,

The blue one goes in on Monday to get a Miltek catback and a 17% pulley fitted :)

Hi, I gave £3500 for it as a trade sale from evans halshaw, It's 86k 2 owners with full service, I couldn't find a facelift R53 for under 4k anywhere else at the time.

Mini sidewalk purchased some work to be done before we get it ( wheels and paintwork to be tidied up ) so looking forward a long hot summer ! Ok a nice mild one will do ,will try and post some pics when we get it.
