losing oil in mini r56 turbo (can anyone help please)

Hi all I am losing oil in a number of places car was in the garage and they are saying that I am losing lots of oil in a number of place can anyone tell me where would be the best place to start I am thinking around the turbo area will try and upload photos later in the week

Did the garage not tell you where it was losing oil from ?
Easiest way is to place paper under the car and see where the oil is dripping it'll narrow down the area it's leaking from for starters.

Drivers side, timing chain cover - mine had timing chain tensioner problems that resulted in oil all over the place.

Never good ...start off by looking underneath and work up the way ...as Davies says surprised at garage not saying where it was leaking from :thud:If it's around turbo make sure all oil lines are tight an dun damaged ,if you can clean area and start up and watch...the thing with leaks is where you see the leak is not always where it is leaking from :yes nod: But if you can get pics up
