I removed the passenger side front seat yesterday mainly because it is never used and provides easy access to the rear seats where i can put my 6 month old in his car seat.
I was shocked at the weight of the seat. I didn't put it on the scales but it must weigh upwards of 30Kg!!

Yep, 30kg each, plus the back comes in at just under 20kg. Remove all these, put in carbon kevlar buckets and viola lighter than a GP!

Wow that is alot of weight to be saved!
Im currently considering replacing the panoramic roof with plexi, not sure if its a good idea though.

I've got the same panoramic sun roof. It's sooo nice in the summer so that will be the last to go when the mini goes from normal run about to track day focused. I've heard there is a bit of weight in the whole unit that I'm likely just to replace roof entirely.
50kg on removing seats alone. Wow that's some weight saving!

S Spokes weigh about 11kg each too. Unsprung weight is apparently equal to 4x of sprung weight, so a nice set of lightweight rims are great for handling.

Panoramic roof adds 20kg from memory, right where you don't want it.
And stock alloys are very heavy, S spokes especially as has been said
