Been looking at going back to a speedboat again so thought I would stick up an advert for our little fishing/cabin boat incase anyone on here is interested. It's also on Gumtree as well.
Here we have our 14ft Mayland boat complete with trailer and a very reliable 15hp Evinrude 2 stroke outboard.
The Mayland has a GRP double skinned semi planning hull design meaning it's very strong and stable. With the 15hp engine and current prop it can reach about 18mph at full throttle making this boat ideal for scooting about in fresh or saltwater.
We use the boat in Loch Lomond and it has a good trailer with new bearings recently fitted. It tows well and can be launched and retrieved by one person.
The outboard has low hours on it which is apparent from its condition and is always flushed through after each use. It runs brilliantly, starts easily and is excellent on fuel.
The boat comes ready to go in the water and was recently painted with marine paint, yellow over white. The yellow top could do with a polish but it looks presentable. Some of the fixtures do have some paint on them since I had planned to remove them at a later date and repaint them on their own anyway but this is a small tidy up job for the new owner.
The cabin is fitted with wiring suitable for 12v DC complete with switch box and battery compartment which would allow you to fit some lights, stereo etc if you wanted to.
Fuel tank holds around 25 litres which will easily take you to one end of the Loch and back at full throttle with some leftover (26 miles each way end to end !)
Any questions please feel free to ask.
Pictures to follow......
Looking for offers around £1400 for everything
