Eggy,

I done the run at night time pouring in rain in a hi-lux surf it was a mare.

However in daylight and in a Mini it will be good.

Loads of single track road's which I don't mind keeps the speed down:p:D

Thanks Eggy, me and Nik had a great time. Really enjoyed ourselves - the driving wasnt too insane, the roads were great and the scenery magic. Now that we're home and Wee Eck has had a bath I dont even mind doing the loop, and the loop, and the loop............in Inverness for a wee cruise before supper! I have some photos but dont have a clue on how to include them.
Cheers anyway

Well what can I say ,500+ miles ,3 top up's with fuel ,6am start,15hrs from start to finish, snow ,rain, sun ,sheep ,deer, pheasants ,cracked windscreens ,even a couple of wheels and the odd tyre will have to be repaired (again)...no names ;),but some good laughs along the way ,even a traffic jam chucked in for free, rounded off with Pizza, and then a well enjoyed beer on my return home....what else do you want on a saturday .Great day out Eric ,many thanks for a fantastic day .

Thanks for the great day - I had to laugh when I got home and so the state of the car - a run should be judged on how much sh*t you take from all over the country and bring home !

The journey back was a bit weird - I got split up from the pack, but found a select few hiding in a petrol station in Elgin. No Optimax so I kept going till Keith, where I did a pit stop the Ferrari team wuld have been proud off.

Great day and good to meet you all again.
