I'm with Willie, but without the bling wheels.....they remind me of Neil's jewellery. How about a proper car.....http://www.mini2.com/gallery/personal/weefossy/42105.jpg

I used to have a Mk11 jag but it was the 2.8 with chrome hub caps not the 3.2 with wire wheels:D
It had 23000 on the clock and it was an olf F plate lovely motor but i had to replace the rear spats 2 times because of the dreaded rust.

I'm surprised how many mini owners have suggested big cars. I find driving anything bigger than a Focus a chore as its like a tank! :clown:

Sorry but are you joking about that jag ? ? ? If it was any good, they wouldn't have bothered making any new jags surely! I don't understand why people spend so much money on old cars. I just dont get it !? From my experience, they just break down, cost lots of money to repair, drive like tanks, and are about as user friendly as a hand held combine harvester! Is it the legend you folks like, or the actual car?

Ewan, it is the legend, but it's also the first car I did 100mph in. At 12 years old, I was pretty impressed and have never forgotten it. What you say is true and applies to the old and new minis, but at my age I'm allowed to be nostalgic.

My Dad had a couple of Jaguar 3.4 MK 2s way back, and they didn't cost £29K then either. It would be a nostalgia thing with me too.

Speaking to my Dad who had cars ranging from the Jaguar MK2, an Aston Martin DB24, an original 998 Cooper to a Jensen Healey, he tells me that his trusty Honda Accord is a far better car than any of them, much more reliable and comfortable.

I'd still love to drive any Aston Martin though.;)

You were allowed to drive at 100MPH when you were 12? :D:clown:
