Just wondering what people would like to be driving if they didnt have a mini? Not a lottery win wish list, it still has to come out of your own pocket. For me a Peugeot RCZ, really like the way they look.

Having swapped just been through this thought process. Run as a company car and didn't want to spend more than I was on my MCS (incl fuel).

It is surprising how good value the SD is to lease. Cars I looked at but materially more money were:
Fiesta ST
Pug 208Gti
Clio RS
Polo Gti and other VAG equivalent.

Due to miles I do it became clear had to be diesel and struggled to find anything to compete with the SD. A1 cost more than the A3. So SD was the answer and got it well specked for the same as what I was paying for the S.

If I was buying for cash think fiesta ST would be my choice.

New Audi S1 also looks interesting

Good lad Jonnie, the RCZ is an amazing car. I'm SO going to miss the head turns and forecourt conversations she starts, even after three years I haven't tired of it...

It's a difficult choice as nothing really excites me at the mo has the car market gone all soft ? Def would be another hot hatch and would have to be from Triggers short list too probably :)

I fancy the VW Scirocco (current model) but would consider a RR Evoque if I had a lottery win.

I thought the same as Zimbo but googled it and you're not wrong, what a car! That's the way the GP should be.

Instead of the hatch I'd go for an Audi S3. And for the countryman, maybe an Evoque. :thumbs up:

Audi have a S3 convertible out later this year. I can see the Golf R convertible we have just now being traded for that. :yes nod:

Got a Golf R convertible just now Bryan and it's awesome. It's the 2.0L Turbucharged 285bhp version. Only trouble is that with the convertible version it's FWD only so it has a bit of trouble putting all that power down on the front wheels. But it still goes like stink, holds the road like a MINI, is one of the most comfortable cars we've ever had and looks the dugs nuts. :thumbs up:

I was close to buying an RS4 a while back but ended up going for the Evo 9.

The mini is probably one of the only cars I have not gotten bored of quickly which looking back at my previous cars does say a lot for it ! I think If I were to sell the mini though I'll be going for another Porsche, probably a 911 as I have been very close to buying one of those a few times now !
