Looks like Ducati had the right idea competing in the open class pity they are still not fast enough though. Good to see Bradley Smith doing well.

Qualifying 1 -Marquez, 2 - Bautista, 3 - Smith, 4 - Dovizioso, 5 - Lorenzo, 6 - Pedrosa. Looks like it will be an interesting race as the qualifying leaders are a mix of factory and open class bikes. Good to see Bradley smith up at the front.

What are your predictions?

Mine are 1 - Pedrosa, 2 - Lorenzo, 3 - Smith. As you say it is a hard decision because it is the first race of both the year and with the new rules, should be good.

I've gone for Marquez, Lorenzo and Pedrosa :thumbs up:
Smith had a whopper of a highside yesterday.......reminisent of the old 500 days....spat him off whilst tapping on the power mid corner

It was actually Friday practice that he had the big high side then he came back yesterday and qualified third.

I went for: Lorenzo - Marquez - Pedrosa - Rossi :thumbs up:

Would like to think that Bradders could keep his 3rd place starting place but I know how the top flight guys will be off gunning for glory right from the word GO!! especially Lorenzo and Marquez and I think Rossi will give it a good go too but doubt he will be able to make it any further up than fourth due to where is starting from on the grid :frown: and considering the competition hes competing with.

I think this race is going to be a cracker

Yeah agree with what your saying, it is probably more wishing that Bradders will get third than really thinking he will, but hey with the new rules it is hard to predict what will happen.

Dare I say, that is a lot more exciting to watch than F1. Marquez and Rossi were amazing, looks like it is going to be a good year.

That was a great race. I had 5 non scorers :frown: and I only managed to score 82 points and am 2531st place . As soon as I saw Lorenzo hit the tarmac I was like Oh for f*** sake!! there goes a decent start to the season then it kinda carried on rolling downhill from there with riders dropping out like flies but I was really glad to see the goat duelling it out for the win

Cant wait for the next race, Jorge this time please stay on your bike, oh and you as well Bradders, thank you

I was wondering how you could have 5 no-scores and still get over 80 points, on the MCN site you only get 6 riders, 2 from each class moto GP, moto 1 & moto 2.
